We are excited to announce that our March-April issue will focus on:
“First Language Acquisition and Second Language Acquisition: A Comparative Perspective.”
In this issue, we will explore the similarities and differences between first language acquisition and second language learning. You are welcome to submit papers on any related topic. Here are some suggested areas of focus:
- Theories of First Language Acquisition and Their Impact on Second Language Acquisition
- The Critical Period Hypothesis and Language Learning in Adults
- Multilingualism and Its Cognitive Advantages
- The Role of the First Language in Second Language Acquisition (Positive & Negative Transfer)
Important Note: You are not required to write specifically on this issue’s theme! While selected articles on this topic will be featured in the March-April issue, we also welcome other essays related to language, education, and language teaching.
If you would like to submit a research paper, translation, education oriented book or movie review, or any other relevant academic work, these will be published separately in the Essays section of our website.
The submission deadline is March 13. You can find the submission guidelines and further details in the Rules section of our site. Please send your articles to langmark.journal@gmail.com.
We look forward to your contributions!
