Dear Readers,

We are thrilled and proud to share the very first issue of LangMark with you.

In this first issue, we decided to focus on language acquisition. We have discussed theories related to First Language Acquisition (FLA) and Second Language Acquisition (SLA), as well as the various factors that influence the process of learning a language. Additionally, we have approached FLA and SLA from a comparative perspective.

Starting with this issue, we plan to regularly include review articles. These reviews will focus on literary works that we believe every teacher candidate should benefit from.

Furthermore, to reach more sources in different languages and to improve our knowledge about language education, linguistics, and teaching practices, we intend to include translation essays from the original language to English in future issues as well.

As the LangMark Team, we sincerely hope that this platform will bring together a wide range of essays that we can all benefit from and use to exchange ideas.
