LangMark’s Second Wave: Literature Meets Language Learning!

Have you ever wondered how a poem, a short story, or even a classic novel can open doors to deeper language learning? We are excited to announce that the theme of our upcoming issue will be: “Literature and Language Education: Exploring the Intersections.

In this issue, we aim to explore how literature can be integrated into foreign language teaching and how it contributes to language learning processes. We invite you to submit papers on any topic related to this theme. Here are some suggested areas of focus:

  • The Use of Literary Texts in Foreign Language Classrooms: Benefits and Challenges
  • Developing Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension Skills through Literary Texts
  • A Comparative Study on the Effectiveness of Literary Genres (Poetry, Short Story, Novel) in Language Teaching
  • Modern vs. Classical Texts: Which is More Effective as a Reading Material in the Target Language?

Important Note: You are not required to write solely on this issue’s theme! While selected articles focusing on “Literature and Language Education” will be featured, we also welcome other academic works related to language, education, and language teaching. If you wish to submit a research paper, a theoretical or reflective essay, a book or film review relevant to education, or a translation with academic value, these will be published in the Essays section of our website.
Submission deadline is May 7. You can find the submission guidelines and further details in the Rules section of our site. Please send your articles to langmark.journal@gmail.com

We look forward to your contributions!
