From Language to Literature: LangMark’s Second Issue Is Here!

We are beyond excited to share with you the second issue of LangMark, and this one feels extra special.

After taking our first step into the world of language acquisition in Issue #1, we now turn the page toward a new chapter: exploring the power of literature, not only as a teaching tool but as a way we think, feel, and teach.

This issue is where stories meet structure, emotions meet grammar, “Dead Poets Society” reminds us why we teach, and where poetry, essays, and reflections bring new life into foreign language education.
From drama techniques and storytelling to intercultural awareness and literary analysis, every page reflects our belief that language is more than rules, it is meaning, identity, and connection.

One of the highlights of this issue is our exclusive interview with Dr. Oğuzhan Kalkan, where we explore the place of literature in language teaching from both a personal and professional lens. His insights have added incredible depth to this special issue.

We are proud to see how LangMark continues to grow as a platform where different ideas and perspectives meet. With this second issue, we hope to inspire future educators, spark new discussions, and remind readers of the value literature can bring into language classrooms. We’re just getting started!
