PREPARATION OF ESSAYS

Language

Essays are published in English in the journal and on the website.

Type

There is no specific type required for publication in the journal, and on the website. The author can write in any genre he/she choose.

In order for an essay to be published in the journal, it must first be approved by the Editorial Board of Supervisors. Subsequently, it can only be published if it receives final approval from the Journal Advisor Teacher.

Unless otherwise stated, all correspondence regarding submitted essays will be made directly with the author.

Essay submissions can be made via e-mail address langmark.journal@gmail.com and/or Whatsapp.

The deadline for submission of essays is determined by the Editorial Board.

1. The works should be prepared on an A4 page with 2.5 cm. margins on the top, bottom, right and left sides, 12-point Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing.

2. Your submissions should meet the following criteria;

  • Essays should be original, unpublished works ranging between maximum of 1500, and minimum of 1000 words,
  • Book and film reviews must be original, unpublished works ranging between maximum of 1000, and minimum of 500 words. The Editorial Board determines which books and films will be reviewed.
  • There are no prerequisites for other genres, and the decision is at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

3. The name(s) of the author(s) should be placed right-aligned directly below the title of the work. Author(s) submitting their work for publication from different universities should include the name of their university below their name(s).

4. In studies, indicators such as tables, graphs and figures should be included only when necessary for readability and comprehension. They must be numbered and accompanied by a descriptive title. Titles for tables should be placed above them, while titles for figures should be placed below.

5. The author(s) bear full responsibility for any work submitted to us for publication in accordance with the guidelines.

6. The Editorial Board of Supervisors may request or make some revisions to the text.
